Dr David Hickie is a specialist in the field of landscape design, landscape planning and landscape ecology.

He has over 30 years’ experience providing expert landscape advice for a variety of complex projects, involving landscape characterisation, landscape assessment, visual impact assessment and landscape ecology.

In 1995, he was a member of the Landscape Institute’s Working Group that developed the ‘Guidelines for Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (First Edition)’.

He regularly acts as Expert Landscape Witness for Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council and other LPAs at Planning Inquiries.
